Manning, 39, is being held without bond at the Land O'Lakes Detention Facility.A 39-year-old New Port Richey woman was arrested Friday on organized fraud charges.
Renee Dawn Manning is being held without bond at the Pasco County Jail.
Authorities believe there may be other victims as Manning's scheme involved victims in three counties.
According to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement report Manning coordinated a fictitious land sale of a multi-million dollar property near Kissimmee.
Detectives say she advised her alleged victims that she would broker the sale to a foreign investor but needed money from them up front to secure a loan.
Manning was taken into custody just before noon Friday at a location in Odessa. A records search of the Florida Corporate records shows Manning listed as an officer for several real estate related businesses operating out of the area.
The arrest was the result of work involved the FDLE, the Attorney General's Office and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
"I am extremely proud of the FDLE and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office for their thorough investigation into Manning's deceptive practices," said Attorney General Pam Bondi. "Four Floridians were swindled out of $700,000 as a result of this organized fraud."
Investigators say Manning's victims reside in Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. The suspect operated under the business names The Manning Team, Tuscan Properties and Corporate Rental Solutions.
Anyone with any information on Manning's practices is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or FDLE Special Agent Sara MacKnight at 813-878-7300.
