Flooding temporarily blocks Bayshore

Northbound Bayshore Blvd was closed briefly between Rome and Swann because of flooding Wednesday afternoon.

Tampa police officers put up barricades and re-routed traffic for about a half-hour.

According to FOX 13's Tanya Arja, traffic was backed up at the scene, but it was flowing again as of around 5:15.

Police are keeping the barricades handy in case the road floods again.
