According to the sheriff's office, it was just after midnight Wednesday morning when deputies responded to a call of a burglary in progress at the J.J. Taylor Distributing warehouse on 16th Avenue S.
Two suspects, later identified by deputes as Edward Carpenter and Timothy Becker, had crawled under a fence and swiped 29 cans of beer from a warehouse dock.
Becker was located on the dock and arrested. Carpenter was nabbed after his truck became stuck on the CSX railroad tracks.
Approximately $80 worth of Crispin Natural Hard Apple Cider was recovered, deputies added.
