A 59-year-old Beverly Hills man died from injuries suffered Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle on West Dunklin St. in Dunnellon.
Scott Edwin Keatly was transported to Seven Springs Regional Medical Center in Crystal River where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report Keatly was traveling west on West Dunklin on his 2000 Harley Davidson just after 2 PM when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.
The incident occurred just east of the West Nessi St. intersection. The motorcycle veered onto the shoulder and overturned several times.
Keatly, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike. The report states that alcohol did not play a factor in the crash.

The official cause has not yet been determined as the investigation continues.
