An accident shut down Interstate 4 in Polk County Monday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. near the U.S. 27 exit.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a driver in a truck hauling a portable generator blew a tire. The trailer the generator was in overturned, ejecting the generator and spilling 120 gallons of fuel on the roadway.
