ATLANTA -

The man at the heart of the contagious disease controversy has parted ways with the Atlanta Humane Society.

Operations Vice-President Richard Rice left the charity last week, several days after a Fox5 I-Team investigation uncovered evidence that years worth of diseased animal cases were not being reported to the state as the law requires.

FOX 5 I-Team reporter Randy Travis reveals what the state found in his new report.
