(CANVAS STAFF REPORTS) - Teenage superstar Miley Cyrus faced controversy last summer when photos came out of her dancing with an older man. Now she's in the hot seat again as video footage is reportedly about to be released.

TMZ posted a clip lasting about one minute of Cyrus and Shankman dancing.

RadarOnline reported that the tape of Cyrus, 16 at the time, dancing with producer Adam Shankman, 44, was taken about seven months ago at a wrap party for "The Last Song."

According to an insider quoted by RadarOnline, there were small children at the party "and the dancing between Miley and Adam was so dirty that some of the parents actually left the party and took their kids home."

The dancing included grinding, a lap dance, and Cyrus seductively flipping open the top layer of her shirt in Shankman's direction.

The Hollywood Gossip stated that children were only a few feet away when Cyrus gave Shankman the lap dance. The Gossip said that Shankman, who is openly gay, defended Cyrus when the photos appeared on Twitter in 2009.

"Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room," he wrote. "Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's my little angel sister."

RadarOnline states that neither father Billy Ray Cyrus nor mother Tish were at the party.

Last week Cyrus debuted a new video for the song "Can't Be Tamed" from her album of the same name due out June 22. It was called "too sexy" by some critics .

Miley Cyrus shot to stardom on the Disney show "Hannah Montana." Disney reps had confirmed in January that the fourth season of Hannah Montana, currently being produced and expected to be wrapped up at the end of the summer, is the show's last season.

Cyrus is also promoting "The Last Song," her latest film.

She had another round of tabloid fodder last summer when media reported on her pole-dancing performance at the Teen Choice Awards. The pole dancing performance was done while a leather boot and short-shorts-wearing Cyrus sang her song "Party in the USA."

A Vanity Fair photo spread in 2008 featured Cyrus wrapped in a sheet without a top, exposing her back.

According to Moviefone , Shankman is a dance and physical comedy choreographer turned filmmaker. He has directed mainstream comedies including "The Wedding Planner," "Bringing Down the House" and "The Pacifier."

He is also currently a judge on the FOX's dance show "So You Think You Can Dance."
