    Manatee County has a number of emergency shelters, but they may not all be open during any given storm.  Study them ahead of time, but listen to FOX 13 during a storm to find which shelters are open.

    If you should need evacuation transportation or will require sheltering assistance, pre-registering will
    help expedite the process. The form below is required to register for sheltering or transportation
    assistance to an American Red Cross shelter, assisted care shelter, hospital or nursing home.
