SHELTER LOCATIONS
Hardee County has a number of emergency shelters, but they may not all be open during any given storm.  Study them ahead of time, but listen to FOX 13 during a storm to find which shelters are open.

If you are a resident with special needs and will need county assistance with your evacuation, please register ahead of time.

PET SHELTER PRE-REGISTRATION:
To pre-register for the pet friendly shelter (disaster shelter for pets and people), please print and complete the registration application and both the canine influenza and waiver forms.  Once completed, please mail or fax all forms to:
