It happened around 12:30 Friday when a Cessna 340 Alpha was attempting to land at Ocala International Airport.

The passenger, 55-year-old Carol Golson, was pulled from the plane and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

They say the pilot last made contact with the airtower around at 12:26 p.m. to say he was coming in for a landing, and crashed shortly after that.
