TALLAHASSEE - Callers to several Florida state agencies may have recently heard a message from the governor directing them to a sex chat line.
Gov. Charlie Crist often records messages that are played when a person calls various state agencies and are placed on hold. But a recent on-hold message for his own office has turned into an embarrassment for Crist.
In the message, the governor gave out what he thought was a toll-free number for KidCare, which is a state subsidized provider of health care for children. But the governor's message apparently mixed up a few digits in the toll-free number, directing callers instead to the sex line.
