Authorities have found the teenager who escaped from a central Florida facility for juvenile sex offenders.
Daytona Beach police and Volusia County deputies found 17-year-old Steven Bansemer Sunday evening, about five hours after he went missing.
Deputies say Bansemer forced open a window and hopped a fence at Three Springs of Daytona, a high-risk residential facility for juvenile sex offenders.
Bansemer was located about eight miles from the facility.
Officials notified more than 200 homes and businesses within two
miles of the facility to be on the lookout.
