North Korea is raising its glass towards its first beer commercial.

The communist nation aired the advertisement on state television. It includes low quality graphics, cheery music and shows a thirsty worker holding a glass of beer.

It also shows young-looking women and workers toasting their mugs.

The commercial says the beer will relieve stress, improve health, and extend lives.

North Korea rarely airs advertisements. But leader Kim Jong-Il is believed to like this beer.

You can watch the whole thing here. Partial translation of the text below:

"Pride of Pyongyang, Taedongkang (Taedong River in North Korea) Beer"
"White Rice Beer"
"Unique Flavor"
"Reminds of the Pure and Beautiful Flow of the Taedong River"
"It suits people's taste"
"Medical Action: Gets rid of stress and has diuretic effect"
"contributes to long lives of the people"
"Our Pride, Taedongkang Beer," and that the beer "will make contribution to our people's lives and it will become more familiar with our people"
