Off-duty Pinellas detective charged with battery

TAMPA - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says an off-duty investigator was arrested Sunday on battery charges.
April Hoaglin, 41, who is with the office's Child Protection Investigations Division, was taken into custody by Treasure Island police for simple dating violence battery, according to an arrest affidavit.
The arrest was made just before 9 p.m. Sunday. No other information about the incident has been released.
