Sex offender arrested for lewd act, child porn

INDIAN SHORES - Indian Shores Police have arrested a registered sexual offender for lewd and lascivious molestation on a child and possession of child pornography.

Police say they found Kenneth Rosier, 25, of Largo, engaged in sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 16 on Redington Shores Friday night. During questioning, detectives say Rosier admitted to this molestation and additional molestations in other cities and counties.

Upon further investigation, detectives found Rosier to be in possession of child pornography and charged him on 23 counts.

According to the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement's sexual offenders web site, Rosier was convicted in May of 2008 in the jurisdiction of the U.S. Military in Florida for sexual exploitation of a minor and indecent acts or liberties with a child under 16. He was released but required to register as a sex offender in accordance with Florida law.
