SEFFNER - A crippled little dog named Bradley, who uses a wheelchair to get around outside, has a new home. It's at least his third, but most likely his last, according the SPCA of Polk County.
Bradley has been adopted out to a Seffner couple, who saw his story on FOX 13.
Bradley was hit by a car, adopted out to a family, then returned to the shelter when he family could no longer afford to take care of him.
"It was a no-brainer for me," said Steve George, one of Bradley's new owners.
"And she goes along with all my wacky ideas," he said, referring to his wife, Leslie.
Along with being crippled, Bradley is incontinent and has to wear a diaper. None of that deterred the Georges.
Steve says his heart went out to Bradley because the dachshund mix is disabled. Steve is challenged too. He was born with three fingers on each hand.
Rachel Bulman, a spokeswoman for the SPCA of Polk County, said the organization is very confident the match is one made in doggie heaven.
"We definitely knew where this dog needed to be," Bulman said.
