BARTOW - A central Florida man who was charged with manslaughter in the 2007 drug overdose death of a friend has been found dead.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said investigators don't yet know how Mark Kingham died. The 46-year-old Kingham was found unresponsive on the front porch of his Winter Haven home Sunday morning.
Kingham was awaiting sentencing after pleading no-contest to manslaughter in the April 2007 drug overdose death of 32-year-old Aleisa Anne Lemacks.
The terms of his recent plea deal called for two years of house arrest and four years probation. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for March 26.
The sheriff's office said Kingham led a "playboy" lifestyle and maintained a known drug house.
