Missing girls found safe

LAKE WALES - Two young girls kidnapped from Lake Wales in Polk County have been found safe and the Amber Alert for them has been canceled.

Alayasha Plain, 4, and Kayahra Plain, 5, were found in the Orlando area.

Their mother and the mother's boyfriend were arrested by Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers.

Investigators say Candice Wright, 26, and Saedaddus-Abdus-Samad, 33, kidnapped the two children from their father's home at gun and knifepoint.

The children were with their stepmother, and the father was not home at the time.

The children are now waiting to be reunited with their father.
