Rachel Wade sentenced to 27 years

CLEARWATER - Rachel Wade has been sentenced to 27 years in jail.

She is the woman who was convicted of killing another woman after an ongoing feud over a guy.

Her defense attorneys had argued that she was guilty only of self defense -- that she stabbed Sarah Ludeman because Ludeman and her friends had ganged up on her and confronted her.

But prosecutors told the jury that the April 2009 fight only resulted in death because Wade was carrying a knife.
