LARGO - A drunk driver led Largo police on a wild chase this morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., a Largo police officer noticed a man driving a pickup truck driving recklessly, swerving all over the road.
When the officer turned on his lights to pull the driver, he says the man sped away. But the police didn’t have to chase long.
The man crashed his truck at the corner of Lake Avenue and Adams Circle.
Thankfully no one was seriously injured in the chase. The man was arrested and charged with DUI and fleeing to elude.
