CLEARWATER - A computer repair company offered the tip that led to the arrest of a man for child pornography, police say.

The repair company told officers that a laptop they were working on appeared to contain numerous child pornography videos. Detectives examined the computer and found exactly that.

Police arrested 22-year-old Paul Decaporale of Clearwater last Thursday and charged him with 6 counts of child pornography.

Decaporale is being held on $30,000 bond.
