CLEARWATER - Have you gotten an e-mail with a photograph of bowling lanes with President Obama's face at the end, where the pins are set up to look like his teeth?

It was supposedly taken at a Clearwater bowling alley, and it shows the President's face at the end of each lane. The pins are right where his teeth would be.

According to the e-mail, the bowling alley is doing record business because everyone is lining up for the chance to knock the President's teeth out.

Here are the facts:

Around 200 people have called the bowling ally because of that photo, inquiring from coast to coast, from California to Maine.

And everyone hears the same answer: That photo is big, fat hoax.

We went to Countryside Lanes in Clearwater, where people are asking about it.

"At first I thought it was a joke, one of my buddies prank calling me," said employee Joseph May.

General manager Tina May had to do research to understand the question from the callers.

"I ended up going on Facebook, and low and behold, there was a picture of Obama Bowl," she said.

Regulars at the alley can vouch that they've never seen it.

"Never, never, never. I don't think we ever will either. That was on the internet. It wasn't really on the bowling alley," said Charlie Bop.

"I wasn't sure why they would pick us for that," May said.

For reasons unknown, the internet ad specifies a bowling alley in Clearwater, Florida. The rest seems to be a simple deduction.

"I think people are just looking in the yellow pages and of course with the internet," May said.

Every caller gets the same response.

"We just tell them it's nothing serious, just some chain link email internet rumor going around," he said.

And it's a rumor the owners are not happy to be associated with.

"My personal opinion is it's a very disrespectful thing. I didn't approve of it at all and that was basically what I told people, no we don't do that and I don't know many around here who would," said Tina May.

But some find the hoax amusing.

"It's funny," said Charlie Bop.

As for the callers, most aren't taking a stance.

"No body has really said either way. I think it's just a curiosity," she said.

And isn't everything a little more curious in Florida -- during an election year.
