SEMINOLE - Students at Seminole High School opened their hearts for four teenagers who lost their lives in a car accident.

Several bloodmobiles pulled up outside the high school Tuesday. It was a planned event even before the accident, but many students say they gave blood to honor Joey Ruzecki, Nate Richardson, LeShawn Smith, and Keith MacCollom.

Florida Blood Services says turnout was especially high at the school.

"We're looking for young people to make a difference in their community, do something which helps to heal themselves and others in need," offered Dan Eberts of Florida Blood Services.

Students also signed dedication cards. They'll be given to the boys' families.
