TAMPA - Thirteen people were injured at the Florida State Fairgrounds after severe weather rolled through the area, according to Hillsborough Fire Rescue officials.
Authorities said three people were seriously injured, and four others had minor injuries after heavy winds caused a tent to collapse on the fairgrounds.
All were taken to area hospitals.

The National Weather Service reported several possible tornadoes and issued warnings as a line of strong storms moved through the area.
The view from the FOX 13 State Fair cam showed heavy rain and high wind battering the fairgrounds.
Tornado warnings were issued during the afternoon from MacDill Airforce Base in South Tampa all the way to Hardee County.
A tornado watch was in effect for southwest Florida until 8 p.m.
A coastal flood watch was in effect until 10 p.m. in Pasco and Pinellas counties.
