Students injured in school bus crash

Two school buses were involved in an accident in Citrus County Monday afternoon, injuring several students.

The buses from Lecanto High School collided around 2:45 p.m. near West Norvell Bryant Highwat and North Lecanto Highway between Lecanto and Beverly Hills.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one of the buses rear-ended a car. That collision pushed the car out of the road, and the first bus then hit the second bus.

There is no word yet on how many people were injured, or what their conditions are.
