Four injured in Pasco car crash

SHADY HILLS - Four people were critically injured in a car crash in Pasco County Thursday afternoon.

It happened at Kent Grove Drive and Giddens Avenue around 4 p.m.

A 1994 Chevy Blazer ran into the back of a 1993 Pontiac Firebird causing both drivers to lose control and the SUV to overturn, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Blazer, Rose Mary Daniel, 59, of New Port Richey was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the Firebird, Kenneth Stewart, 36, of Spring Hill was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition.

Stewart's two passengers were also listed in critical condition. Russell Monin, 23, of Spring Hill was also transported to St. Joseph's Hospital. Nancy Morgan, 22, of Valrico was transported to TGH.

The crash is still under investigation.
