Water main break in north Tampa

TAMPA - A water main break flooded a residential road inside the Cherry Creek subdivision in north Tampa late Friday.
Initially, water was bubbling up onto Briardale Lane so fast that it was too deep to drive through, deputies said.
Water service to nearby homes was interrupted.
Late Friday night, deputies were still waiting for county engineers to arrive.
