6 arrested in prostitution sting

    TAMPA - Six women, aged 26-41, were arrested by Tampa police during a prostitution sting.

    The sting happened along Nebraska Avenue in the area of Columbus Drive Monday night. Officers posed as "johns", or men looking for sex, to make the arrests.

    Patricia Warren, 26, Kennitha Christian, 26, Chaka Powell, 29, Danielle Scott, 41, Almetha Allen, 36 and Tanya Simmons all face charges of offering prostitution.
