TAMPA - The University of South Florida Bulls officially begin a new era. The team’s second head football coach landed in Tampa Thursday night. Skip Holtz arrived at Tampa Executive Airport just after 8 p.m. with several USF officials.

FOX 13 Sports Reporter Kevin O’Donnell was the first Bay Area reporter to speak with Holtz after he landed. He says his family played a big role in his decision to switch teams. His father, Coach Lou Holtz, and his mother live in Orlando -- his wife’s parents live in Port Charlotte.

Holtz is plans to talk more about his new position at USF on Friday during a news conference at noon.
