Two early release days now full days

TAMPA - The Hillsborough County School board has changed the last day of school, and extended two early release days.

Board members voted unanimously to change the last day of school from Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 10.

They shifted two early release days back to full days. Those dates are May 25 and June 8.

With these adjustments, officials say Hillsborough County students will be in school 180 days, the number required by state law.
