RIVERVIEW - Deputies say three boys broke into several buses parked near a Tampa Bay school and took one for a joy ride.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports that a man called 911 Sunday morning after hearing kids yelling and seeing a school bus cruising around the parking lot of a Frost Elementary School in Riverview.

Deputies arrived and caught two 11-year-old boys and one 12-year-old boy. Authorities reported that the boys had broken into a total of four buses. A sheriff's spokesman says a bus surveillance camera caught the incident on tape.

The boys face charges of burglary and grand theft auto.
