Pedestrian hit, killed in Tampa

TAMPA - A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Tampa late Sunday night. It happened just before midnight, at North Nebraska Avenue and East 109th Avenue.

A 45-year old man from Tampa was lying along the curb. According to police, the 19-year-old driver didn't see him and hit him.

A witness said the victim may have been intoxicated and fell down in the roadway before the accident.

The driver wasn't hurt.
