WESTCHASE - It appears the monkey that's been on the loose since last week is on the move again.

Several people, including a Hillsborough County deputy, reported seeing the animal in the Westchase area late this morning.

Deputies searched a wooded area in 11700 block of Cypress Crest Circle, by ground and helicopter, even grabbing binoculars for a closer look. But the monkey was no where to be found.

A Tampa resident spotted a monkey up in a tree on Nov. 11.  After several hours, Florida Fish and Wildlife officers confirmed it was a Macaque monkey but were unable to capture it.

There's still no word on where the monkey came from.
