TAMPA - Engines were revving from Tampa to Clearwater this weekend to spread some holiday cheer for Bay Area kids in need. It was all part of the eighth annual 4 Kids Charity Toy Run.
Bikers and bike clubs from all over the area started their day by donating a toy at the Tampa Elks Lodge then rode together to Clearwater. Even Santa Claus hopped on a motorcycle for the run.
"Our biggest work here is veterans and children so anytime we can do anything for a veteran or a child it just makes that day brighter," said Anthony Edwards of the Tampa Elks Lodge.
Toys collected at the run will go to make sure needy kids in the area have gifts on Christmas.
They also collected Christmas cards to be sent to troops
overseas.
