Shooting at Hillsborough apartment complex

TAMPA - The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in the Town and County area.

A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times while sitting inside a parked car at the Tudor Cay complex along Hillsborough Avenue.

Friday night, investigators said he was in critical, but stable condition.

The shooting happened at about 6:30 p.m. Detectives spent the evening at the scene trying to piece together what happened. They said they had no information on a possible motive.

Neighbors say the complex is mostly quiet. They're surprised a shooting took place.

Investigators have not identified the victim, but say he does not live in the complex. Friday night, no one was in custody. Detectives said they were following leads.
