A plane made a hard landing at Vandenburg Airport Wednesday afternoon, leaving the two people inside with minor injuries.

It happened around 2:30 p.m.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a single-engine Cessna's front landing gear failed, causing the plane slide off the runway. The front wheel came off, and the plane did a nosedive onto the pavement.

The two people inside were from Connecticut, and received minor cuts, according to the sheriff's office.

The NTSB will investigate the crash.
