Free Chick-fil-A on Labor Day

TAMPA - Chick-fil-A is kicking off the 2009 college football season with a free chicken sandwich giveaway on Labor Day.

All customers have to do is wear an article of clothing with any sports team logo— little league, college or professional— to any Chick-fil-A restaurant from 10:30 a.m. to close on Monday, September 7.

The chain has also launched a new website to promote the giveaway. At www.ChickenWave.com , fans can create a virtual version of a stadium fan "wave" to win prizes, including free sandwiches and $50 gift cards.

Chick-fil-A's last free giveaway, in July, required customers to dress up as a cow for "Cow Appreciation Day."
