TAMPA - Rain and fog slowed down drivers on area roads this morning, and the rain is expected to continue through most of the day.
The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Tampa and areas south that will last through tonight as the rain moves from south to north. Heavy rain and localized flooding will be seen across the area, and FOX 13 meteorologist Dave Osterberg said several inches of rain may fall in the southern counties of the Bay Area throughout the day.
Traffic moved slowly on major roads throughout the morning commute but no major problems were reported.
