Denny's offers free Grand Slamwich

TAMPA - Denny's restaurants across the country and in the Bay Area are offering a free breakfast sandwich today.

The new Grand Slamwich is free for any customer who brings in a friend or family member and orders a Grand Slam breakfast, according to its website.

The Grand Slamwich features scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, mayonnaise and American cheese between two pieces of maple-glazed toast.

The offer is good until 2 p.m. at participating restaurants.

The chain's latest promotion follows a Grand Slam giveaway on February 3, after a commercial announced the free breakfast during the Super Bowl.
