ST. PETERSBURG - Seven people were injured in an early-morning crash on Gandy Boulevard near Frontage Road, and police believe the vehicles involved may have been racing.
Witnesses say four vehicles were involved in the crash and all of the injured persons looked to be in their late teens or early 20s. At least one person was transported to an area hospital.
St. Petersburg Police are investigating the crash, which happened around 2:45 a.m.
