BRADENTON - Deputies have arrested a suspect in the case involving a Bradenton girl who had disappeared this weekend.
Kenneth R. Ross, 46, is charged with several crimes, including lewd and lascivious battery, lewd and lascivious molestation interfering with custody of a child and supplying alcohol to a minor, according to arrest records.
The missing 12-year-old girl returned home Sunday afternoon, and the Amber Alert for her was cancelled, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the girl left with Ross in his Jeep on Saturday, he took her home, gave her alcohol, showed her adult movies and sexually battered and molested her. Ross dropped her off back home Sunday and told her not to tell anyone, the sheriff's office said.
Ross is being held on more than $190,000 bond, jail records
show.
