SALT LAKE CITY - Another wintry storm is moving east from California.
Forecasters say it could drop 3 feet of snow over northern Utah by morning. It's already being blamed for 90 traffic accidents in the state and has cut power to more than 5,000 customers.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Utah Highway Patrol said 135 drivers had slid off the road or asked for help on slushy roads.
However, Utah ski resorts are welcoming the snow, after a slow start to the season.
Still, it's creating dangers there too. The Utah Avalanche Center says one backcountry skier was buried under two feet of snow in the Wasatch mountains. Companions managed to spot one of his poles sticking out of the snow and he was dug out.
