A group of local doctors who have been treating the injured in Haiti are back home.
The doctors are part of the Hope for Haiti group. The charter plane carrying the doctors arrived in Tampa a little after 1 a.m.
They've been in Haiti since January 23rd. These doctors worked out of a small hospital outside Port-au-Prince.
Several of these doctors have plans to return to Haiti later in the year to follow up on patients they helped.
This latest flight follows two airlifts earlier this week, ferrying victims from Haiti to the Bay Area for medical care.
But these patients didn't come alone. Family members also came with them, and are recovering from the emotional wounds of the quake.
