BROOKSVILLE - Hernando County Animal Services will hold public viewing hours for adoptable dogs, birds, and livestock from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. this Thursday and Friday. The animals were rescued from a negligent situation last week.
The dogs wil be available for adoption to qualified adopters for a $65 fee. The fee covers spaying and neutering, a rabies vaccination, and a county license.
Dogs not adopted during the public viewing will be showcased at the Humane Society's annual Furfest on November 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tom Varn Park.
The birds and livestock will be available to qualified adopters through an online auction. Details have not yet been released.
