Brain injury impact tests

A concussion is a brain injury, and damage can depend on how hard you're hit. Regardless of how serious it first appears, treating it in time could actually mean the difference between life and death.

Impact tests can measure brain activity before and then after a hit.

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is offering them to athletes of all ages. They are free, every Saturday morning during football season, 9 a.m., at FOI's main office at 13030 Telecom Parkway North.
